Pine Lake Ranch Wedding Day: James & Ashley

Hey there gorgeous!  Hope you all are having a fabulous Wednesday so far!  Wedding season is in full swing over here and I'm so happy to share this beautiful one with you.  James and Ashley tied the knot at Pine Lake Ranch just over a week ago and it was a perfect day.  The ceremony tree at Pine Lake Ranch is one of my absolute favorite ceremony spots.  Ashley wore her mom's dress and looked stunning in it!  Hope you guys enjoy these images!

The Woodlands Engagement Session : Zac & Emily

Well good afternoon!  I hope you guys are having a fabulous week!  It's been a busy week of shooting for me, engagement portrait season is here as well as wedding season and family portrait season ... you get the idea, right!?

Zac and Emily are getting married at The Farmhouse this spring and I absolutely cannot wait for their big day!  They braved the heat with me on Monday and trounced through a field with very tall grass.  To say they were troopers is an understatement!!  However, I assured them it would be totally worth it and it was.  Hope you guys enjoy these images, make sure and leave a comment to show them some love!

The Woodlands United Methodist + The Marriott Waterway Wedding : Chris + Bethany

Well folks it's been a while since I've blogged!  August is always relatively slow here in Houston because not a ton of people want to get married in the most intense heat of the year.  I typically take my vacation time in August and September and use that time to recharge and revamp things within my business.  Also,  Harvey hit which slowed Houston down some, which is a really good thing ... people took time to help their neighbors and the community.  I hate the destruction Harvey caused but I love the response of love that I've seen.  This wedding took place the weekend after Harvey and both venues were not flooded (thank you Jesus!)

The weather was absolutely enjoyable thanks to Harvey, so I guess that's a way to look on the bright side of things.  Chris & Bethany had a flawless day and I was so thankful to be a part of it.  I loved working with so many of my favorite vendors too!  There were some really fun moments at the reception, Bethany's uncle wrote a song for them that was hilarious (see rubber ducky photos) and they also did a second line dance which is New Orleans tradition.  So much fun!  Hope ya'll enjoy these images!!
