Awesome Announcement #1: For those of you who didn't notice, our blog has been completely redesigned! Lindsay, a super fabulously talented web designer, did it for us and we could not be more pleased with the way that everything turned out. We wanted a blog that reflected our personalities and she took that and ran with it! You guys make sure to comment and tell us what you think.

Awesome Announcement #2: We have launched a Fine Art Site where will be selling our fine art prints :D Amy and I both have fine art degrees and we love creating photographs for our clients, but we also have many photographs we do for fun because we love creating art.  So, we thought some of you might enjoy having some of our art in your house, office, or as a gift for a friend. Awesome Announcement #3: Amy and I, along with Bella Vista Productions, filmed our new promotional video this morning!  So for those of you wondering where the video we had up in the past went, don't worry, we'll be posting a new one as soon as it's edited. :)  We can't wait to share it with you all and thanks so much to Bella Vista Productions for all your hard work and talent.  I absolutely cannot wait to see the final product!!!

Virginia was just getting me shooting and told me to pretend like I was shooting the couple (since she was directly in my shot), so they decided to be hilarious and make me bust out laughing while she was filming me and not them!  Good times, good times :)

Ben + Kristine: Maternity Portraits Tomball, TX

This session was SO much fun :)  I loved little Benjamin, he was so funny and absolutely loved taking pictures with my camera.  I was bribing him for smiles with using my camera after I was done.  So I would hold it and he would look through the viewfinder and click the button... it was priceless.  He's also a typical goofy 5 year old, who made joke after joke and danced and made funny faces... needless to say my abs hurt from laughing after this shoot.  Ben and Kristine are expecting a baby boy in about a month or so and I can't wait to meet him!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Check back Monday, we have some exciting announcements including the winner of the contest we've been running all week :)

200th Blog Post = Contest Time!!!

Good Monday morning to everyone!!!  I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend ... I did lots of shooting, which always makes for a great time.  I'm so blessed to tell you that this is our 200th blog post!  I'm so thankful for all of our wonderful clients and how much they have become a part of our lives.  Amy and I have thoroughly enjoyed capturing each and everyone of our clients' happiest moments: walking down the aisle, expecting a baby, newly engaged, growing families, etc.  We both feel extremely fortunate to have this job and to have the best clients in the world.  So thank you thank you thank you! ((hugs))

Josh + Candice: Engagement Portraits Galveston, TX

Well good Saturday morning to everyone!  We've got a busy schedule of shooting this weekend but I wanted to get a quick blog post in for you guys.  Soooo without further ado, let me introduce Josh and Candice to you.  They are getting married at the Garten Verein in Galveston this September and wanted to take their engagements in Galveston to set the tone for the wedding.  There is one problem with Galveston, it's ALWAYS windy!!!  We rescheduled this shoot twice because there were 25 mph gusts... and the third session we figured 15 mph would work.  It did work, but you can tell the beach photos are pretty windy, the great thing is that these two aren't capable of taking a bad photo, so they look fabulous - wind and all :) This shoot was full of laughter, love, and fun and I loved every minute of it!  Hope you guys enjoy the images and thanks Josh and Candice, you guys are wonderful and I can't wait for your wedding!  Have a great weekend everyone, I'm going to try and sneak a post in tomorrow and then we'll be rolling out the red carpet for something special for Monday's blog post!  (so check back definitely on Monday, you won't want to miss this!!!)
